1. Investigation of Vapor Ejectors in Heat Driven Ejector Refrigeration Systems
Sammanfattning : Refrigeration systems, air-conditioning units and heat pumps have been recognized as indispensable machines in human life, and are used for e.g. food storage, provision of thermal comfort. These machines are dominated by the vapor compression refrigeration system and consume a large percentage of world-wide electricity output. LÄS MER
2. On Premixed Gas Fuelled Stirling Engine Combustors with Combustion Gas Recirculation
Sammanfattning : The main objective in the research described in this thesis was to design and test the use of lean premixed combustion using combustion gas recirculation for gas fuelled Stirling engine combustors. A system using a flame-arrester type of flame-holder to stabilize the flame and an ejector system for the recirculation of combustion gas was designed and tested in the laboratory. LÄS MER
3. Solar-driven refrigeration systems with focus on the ejector cycle
Sammanfattning : Interest in utilizing solar-driven refrigeration systems for air-conditioning or refrigeration purposes has grown continuously. Solar cooling is com-prised of many attractive features and is one path towards a more sus-tainable energy system. LÄS MER
4. Large Eddy Simulation for the Analysis of Jet Noise Suppression Devices
Sammanfattning : Stricter noise regulations for commercial aircraft have increased interest in noise reduction techniques within the aerospace industry. To meet the requirements new noise suppression technologies have to be delveoped and the numerical methods need to be validated and possibly improved for the correct assessment of these new technologies. LÄS MER
5. Large Eddy Simulation for the Analysis of Supersonic Jet Noise Suppression Devices
Sammanfattning : Stricter noise regulations for commercial and military aircraft have increased interest in noise reduction techniques within the aerospace industry. To meet the requirements, new noise suppression technologies have to be developed and numerical methods need to be validated and possibly improved for the correct assessment of these technologies.
