    Författare :Christian Brembilla; Thomas Olofsson; Ronny Östin; Mohsen Soleimani-Mohseni; Bjørn Reidar Sørensen; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Efficiency factors of space heating; hydronic panel radiator; hydronic floor heating; multilayer wall; numerical modelling; room control volume; decrement factor; time delay; heat conduction; heat convection; heat radiation; heat storage; thermal inertia; Euler solver; Newton-Raphson method; synthetic weather file; feedback and feed-forward control strategies; adaptive control; validation methodology; uncertainty bands; robustness of model predictions; thermostatic booth simulator; differential sensitivity analysis; transient model of panel radiator with multiple storage elements; active thermal mass; benchmark performance indicator; linear regression model; calibration through uncertainty bands; hybrid model of low-energy building: law driven data driven; outdoor temperature compensation heating curve; solar radiation model; finite difference method; heat equation;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis focuses on the efficiency of the space heating system. In particular, the efficiency factors measure the efficiency of thermal zone. The efficiency factors measures how the energy is used in a space heating. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Uthålligt lärande om värmen? : Domesticering av energiteknik i passivhus

    Författare :Charlotta Isaksson; Kajsa Ellegård; Per Gyberg; Margarethe Aune; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Domestication; everyday life; practices; learning activities; energy use households; heat comfort; space heating; passive houses; energy efficiency; Domesticering; vardagsliv; praktik; lärande; hushåll; värmekomfort energianvändning; uppvärmning; passivhus; energieffektivisering; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : Den vanligaste lösningen på problemet att för mycket energi används i den byggda miljön är implementering av energieffektiv teknik. Men installation av teknik räcker sällan för att nå förväntad energibesparing: det är människor som i sin vardag använder tekniken och de använder den inte alltid på det sätt som teknikutvecklarna har tänkt sig. 3. 3. Evolution of Future Heating Systems - Modeling of an Expanding City Using a Dynamic Systems Approach

    Författare :Karl Vilén; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Heating system; Thermal energy storage; Low-heat-demand housing; Dynamic energy systems modeling; Housing; District heating; Climate policy; TIMES;

    Sammanfattning : Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is central to meeting climate change mitigation targets. Since the energy sector is one of the largest greenhouse gas emitters, it is essential that all the actors within the energy sector reduce their respective emissions. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Buildings and district heating - contributions to development and assessments of efficient technology

    Författare :Per-Olof Johansson; Energihushållning; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; District heating; hydronic space heating; natural circulation; lowered return temperature; primary energy; add-on-fan blower;

    Sammanfattning : The objective of this thesis is to contribute to improved performance of district heating systems by focusing on three items. Item 1: Study of three methods for improving the performance of sub-systems within buildings connected to the distribution network. The methods can be considered as more or less innovative. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Applicability of thermal energy storage in future district heating system - Design methodologies and performance evaluations

    Författare :Yichi Zhang; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; low-temperature district heating; demand-side management; low energy buildings; Thermal energy storage; district heating; variable renewable energy;

    Sammanfattning : District heating (DH) enables efficient and economical utilization of energy resources to satisfy the heat and hot water demands in buildings and is, thereby, well-established in Northern European countries. To achieve the future renewable energy system, the current DH systems are proved to undergo transitions towards the future DH systems, with major characteristics including renewable-based heat sources, low temperature networks, lower heating demands and smart controls.
