    Sammanfattning : In this dissertation a collaboration project in Swedish youth care is analysed. The aim of the project was to enhance coordination between the Social Services and the Swedish National Board of Institutional Care in order to make the efforts more efficient.     Sammanfattning : Over the last decades companies and government institutions have gathered vast collections of images of historical handwritten documents. In order to make these collections truly useful to the broader public, images suffering from degradations, such as faded ink, bleed through or stains, need to be made readable and the collections as a whole need to be made searchable.     Sammanfattning : The new school mathematics curriculum in Mozambique, introduced in 2008, is partly competency-based and it advocates a more student-centred pedagogy. The most salient innovative features are the incorporation of mathematical competencies related to the development of students’ reasoning skills, including argumentation, justification and analytical thinking, and the use of heuristic or inductive methods that promote meaningful students’ participation.     Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the meaning of career as a phenomenon and its implication for career guidance. In 1996, career as a phenomenon was more or less considered to be an obsolete or even extinct phenomenon.
