  1. 1. The perception of actions and interactions : And the importance of context

    Författare :Joshua Juvrud; Gustaf Gredebäck; Denis Mareschal; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; action understanding; action perception; motion; perception; context; environment; eye-tracking; pupil dilation; Psychology; Psykologi;

  2. 2. Brain characteristics of memory decline and stability in aging : Contributions from longitudinal observations

    Författare :Sara Pudas; Jonas Persson; Lars Nyberg; Emrah Düzel; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; aging; episodic memory; individual differences; longitudinal assessment; magnetic resonance imaging; hippocampus; frontal cortex; Psychology; psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : Aging is typically associated with declining mental abilities, most prominent for some forms of memory. There are, however, large inter-individual differences within the older population. Some people experience rapid decline whereas others seem almost spared from any adverse effects of aging. LÄS MER

  3. 3. On Perceived Exertion and its Measurement

    Författare :Elisabet Borg; Birgitta Berglund; Ana Garriga-Trillo; Stockholms universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : The general aim of the thesis is to answer questions on general and differential aspects of perceived exertion and on the measurement of its intensity variation. Overall perceived exertion is commonly treated as a unidemensional construct. This thesis also explores its multidimensional character. Four empirical studies are summarized (Study I-IV). LÄS MER

  4. 4. Workplace stress measured by Job Stress Survey and relationships to musculoskeletal complaints

    Författare :Stefan Holmström; Bo Molander; Margareta Barnekow-Bergkvist; Lars R Bergman; Umeå universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigated emotional communication in experimentally created face-to-face interaction situations.
