  1. 1. Machinery diagnostic techniques for maintenance optimization

    Författare :Juhamatti Saari; Jan Lundberg; Kalevi Huhtala; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Drift och underhållsteknik; Operation and Maintenance;

    Sammanfattning : One of the future challenges of machinery diagnostics and prognosticsis to prepare for the Internet of Things (IoT), where it is possible to change and improve existing approaches drastically. An intensifying application of the IoT will increase the use of embedded sensors and, therefore, create a demand for diagnostic tools where manual workis minimized and is mainly handled by smart algorithms.     Nyckelord :ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Textile; e-textiles; textile-based diagnostics; microfluidics; glucose sensing; sweat based diagnostics; wearable sensors; micro total analysis systems μTAS ; electrochemistry and organic electrochemical transistor OECT ; Fiber- och polymervetenskap; Fibre and Polymer Science; Materials Science and Engineering; Teknisk materialvetenskap; Biotechnology; Bioteknologi;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis, written by Ingrid Öberg Månsson at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and entitled “Electroanalytical devices with fluidic control using textile materials and methods”, presents experimental studies on the development of textile based electronic devices and biosensors. One of the reasons why this is of interest is the growing demand for integrated smart products for wearable health monitoring or energy harvesting. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Laser-Based Techniques for Combustion Diagnostics

    Författare :Nikola Georgiev; Förbränningsfysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physics; LIF; Laser-based diagnostic techniques; PS; DFWM; Fysik; Fysicumarkivet A:1997:Georgiev;

    Sammanfattning : Two-photon-induced Degenerate Four-Wave Mixing, DFWM, was applied for the first time to the detection of CO, and NH3 molecules. Measurements were performed in a cell, and in atmospheric-pressure flames. In the cell measurements, the signal dependence on the pressure and on the laser beam intensity was studied. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Resonant Laser Techniques for Combustion and Flow Diagnostics

    Författare :Rolf Fritzon; Förbränningsfysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; species; laser diagnostic techniques; temperature imaging; polarization spectroscopy; stimulated emission; DFWM; Fysik; Physics; turbulent mixing; LIF; Fysicumarkivet A:1998:Fritzon;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents results from two areas of research. Firstly, the resonant coherent laser techniques polarization spectroscopy (PS), degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) and stimulated emission (SE) have been developed in the general field of combustion diagnostics. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Application and Development of Optical Soot Diagnostic Techniques

    Författare :Ted Lind; Förbränningsmotorer; []
    Nyckelord :Soot; Soot diagnostics; Soot oxidation; Extinction Imaging; Soot thermometry; Optical diagnostics;

    Sammanfattning : Internal combustion engines (ICE) have been a vital part of society ever since their inception more than a hundred years ago. While initially it seemed as if the replacement of horse and carriage had solved the issue with pollutant emissions, it became evident in the 60’s that emission from ICEs is a major concern. LÄS MER
