   Sammanfattning : Endocrine factors influence cancer development in a variety of reproductive and non-reproductive tissues and organs. The incidence of liver cancer is higher in men than in women and long-term administration of androgens and estrogens has been reported to increase the risk for liver cancer formation, supporting the importance of hormonal factors in the etiology of this tumor.
