3. Perineal healing following abdominoperineal excision for rectal and anal cancer
Sammanfattning : Abdominoperineal rectal excision (APE) may be indicated for distal rectal cancer and anal cancer patients. For many patients the extralevator APE (ELAPE) technique in which a larger part of the pelvic floor is removed is commonly used currently. Sammanfattning : This thesis documents the development and application of a unique database orientated software package, BugsCEP, for environmental and climatic reconstruction from fossil beetle (Coleoptera) assemblages. The software tools are described, and the incorporated statistical methods discussed and evaluated with respect to both published modern and fossil data, as well as the author’s own investigations. Sammanfattning : In this thesis the situation concerning women's musculoskeletal disorders in three different types of workplaces is studied, and differences in women's and men's working conditions which affect this situation are identified. How diffe-rences in working conditions are constructed and reconstructed in and by gen-dered processes is analysed, and this analysis also shows how the work organiza-tions are gendered and gendering.
