    Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses the topic of grounding in human-robot interaction, that is, the process by which the human and robot can ensure mutual understanding. To explore this topic, the scenario of a robot holding a presentation to a human audience is used, where the robot has to process multimodal feedback from the human in order to adapt the presentation to the human's level of understanding.     Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Geographic micro-level factors; longitudinal historical data; geocoding; historical demography; 19th century; individual level; spatio-temporal analysis; detailed geographic data; geographic context.; property units; rural historical soceties; Geographic micro-level factors; longitudinal historical data; geocoding; historical demography; 19th century; individual level; spatio-temporal analysis; detailed geographic data; property units; geographic context;

    Sammanfattning : Historical demographic research is central to understanding past human behaviours and traits, such as fertility, mortality and migration. An essential part of historical demography is conducting longitudinal analyses at the micro-level, which involves the detailed follow-up of individuals over long time periods throughout their lives. Sammanfattning : The visualization of volume data is a fundamental component in the medical domain. Volume data is used in the clinical work-flow to diagnose patients and is therefore of uttermost importance. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Data management and Data Pipelines: An empirical investigation in the embedded systems domain

    Författare :Aiswarya Raj Munappy; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; data management; empirical investigation; artificial intelligence; data pipelines; embedded systems; software engineering; machine learning;

    Sammanfattning : Context: Companies are increasingly collecting data from all possible sources to extract insights that help in data-driven decision-making. Increased data volume, variety, and velocity and the impact of poor quality data on the development of data products are leading companies to look for an improved data management approach that can accelerate the development of high-quality data products.
