  1. 1. A Co-Simulation Approach for Hydraulic Percussion Units

    Författare :Håkan Andersson; Daniel Leidermark; Kjell Simonsson; Daniel Hilding; Mikael Schill; Magnus Eek; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : This Licentiate of Engineering thesis concerns modelling and simulation of hydraulic percussion units. These units are often found in equipment for breaking or drilling in rock and concrete, and are also often driven by oil hydraulics, in which complex fluid-structure couplings are essential for their operation. 2. 2. Optimization of Structures in Contact

    Författare :Daniel Hilding; Georgios E. Stavroulakis; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation addresses the problem of developing theory, algorithms and computational methodology for optimization of structures in contact. Three particular research problems are studied: (i) developing efficient and reliable optimization algorithms for solving structural optimization problems including contact, (ii) creating more realistic state problems for structures in frictional contact, and (iii) developing computational methodology for shape optimization of structures in frictionless contact. 3. 3. Stress and fatigue constrained topology optimization

    Författare :Erik Holmberg; Anders Klarbring; Bo Torstenfelt; Daniel Hilding; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns structural optimization in conceptual design stages, for which constraints that are adapted to industrial requirements have been developed for topology optimization problems. The objective of the project has been to identify and solve problems that today prevent structural optimization from being used in a broader sense in the avionic industry; the main focus has been on stress and fatigue constraints in topology optimization.
