11. Exterior Colours at Rural Dwellings in Southern Sweden during the 19th Century - To increase knowledge regarding local differentiations
Sammanfattning : Abstract The project’s main objective is to verify the existence of local colours and colour schemes in the exteriors of buildings. The research focused on 19th century dwellings in the rural areas of southern Sweden. LÄS MER
12. Measurements of 2π0 and 3π0 Production in Proton-Proton Collisions at a Center of Mass Energy of 2.465 GeV
Sammanfattning : Neutral two- and three-pion productions in proton-proton collisions at a center of mass energy of 2.465 GeV have been studied using the WASA detector and an internal pellet target at the CELSIUS storage ring in Uppsala. LÄS MER
13. New insights into lubricated tribological contacts
Sammanfattning : The emissions of carbon dioxide, CO2, must rapidly be reduced to avoid severe climate change. Tribology-related solutions can be an important part in reducing these emissions. The aim of this thesis is to improve the fundamental knowledge in two tribology-related fields, both concerning lubrication, to enable such solutions in the future. LÄS MER
14. Mechanisms of Anion Reactions from the lab to ionospheres
Sammanfattning : A multitude of heavy neutral and ionic molecules have been discovered by the Cassini Plasma Spectrometer in the ionosphere of Saturn's largest moon Titan. However, only three cyano anions were explicitly identified there, namely CN-, C3N- and C5N-. LÄS MER
15. Studies of Top Physics Sensitivity and of Pile-Up Effects on Energy Reconstruction in the ATLAS Detector : A Licentiate Thesis About the Treatment of Troublesome $\tau$ and Producing Pulses to Probe Pile-up Problems
Sammanfattning : This thesis presents two studies conducted using the ATLAS detectorat the Large Hadron Collider. The first one is a technical study abouthow out-of-time pile-up affects energy reconstruction using the optimalfiltering 2 algorithm in the TILE calorimeter sub detector. The studyis conducted using a pulse simulator software that is also described. LÄS MER
