16. Hybrid superconductor junctions with diluted PtNi ferromagnetic interlayer
Sammanfattning : This thesis describes experimental investigation of thin films made of diluted Pt 1-x Ni x ferromagnet alloy and Nb-Pt 1-x -Nb Josephson junctions. Such Hybrid Superconductor-Ferromagnet (S-F) Structures are of significant interest because of the new physics involved and possible applications in low temperature and spintronic devices. LÄS MER
17. Affective Forecasting in Travel Mode Choice
Sammanfattning : The general aim of this thesis was to investigate affective forecasting in the context of public transport. Paper I, Study 1 revealed that non-users of public transport were less satisfied with the services than users. LÄS MER
18. Nonlinear Interaction Between Ultrasonic Waves and Cracks and Interfaces
Sammanfattning : The subject of this thesis is the development of new ultrasound inspection techniques for detection of cracks that are smaller than the wavelength of the inspecting wave and the characterization of cracks in fluid-filled pipes as either surface-breaking or subsurface. The spectrum of the scattered field of a partially closed crack comprises harmonic components not expected to be found in the case of linear scatterers such as pores or inclusions. LÄS MER
19. Balancing structure and flexibility in the ambulance service : the pursuit of professional judgement in caring and learning
Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this thesis was to describe the conditions for learning inthe ambulance service during clinical practice, and to develop an understanding of how to support the professional development of caring in this context. The findings of this thesis are based on four qualitative interview studies. 20. The ambulance nurse. Aspects on competence and education
Sammanfattning : The knowledge area of ambulance nurses’ competence represents a relatively new research area that cannot be regarded as having been fully explored and described by existing research. There is uncertainty regarding the required competence for ambulance nurses as well as the professional role of the ambulance nurse in ambulance care. LÄS MER
