    Författare :Mirja Mindemark; Anders Larsson; Lars-Olof Hansson; Per Simonsson; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; continuing medical education; cost control; cost savings; physician practice patterns; diagnostic tests; clinical chemistry; primary health care; health care costs; laboratory management; test utilization; trends; cost-effectiveness; inflammatory bowel disease; irritable bowel syndrome; calprotectin; cost avoidance; Clinical chemistry; Klinisk kemi; Biomedical Laboratory Science; Biomedicinsk laboratorievetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Laboratory analyses, essential in screening, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of disease, are indispensable in health care, but appropriate utilization is intricate. The overall aim of this thesis was to study the use of laboratory tests in Sweden with the objective to evaluate and optimize test utilization. LÄS MER

  2. 2. On Determination of Inventory Cost Parameters

    Författare :Peter Berling; Produktionsekonomi; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Produktionsteknik; Production technology; Transportteknik; Transport technology; Ordering cost; Shortage cost; Capital cost; Holding cost; Inventory control; Real options;

    Sammanfattning : Efficient inventory control depends on correct values of inventory cost parameters, such as holding costs, shortage/stockout costs and ordering/setup costs. However, there exists surprisingly little research concerning the size of these parameters or how they should be determined. This thesis is devoted to increasing our knowledge of these matters. 5. 5. Individual Metering and Charging of Heat and Hot Water in Multi-Apartment Buildings

    Författare :Simon Siggelsten; Byggproduktion; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Heat; hot water; cost allocation; multi-apartment buildings; energy savings.;

    Sammanfattning : Individual metering and charging (IMC) means that tenants in multi-apartment buildings should pay only for their own energy consumption, which gives an economic incentive for energy-conscious behaviour. In April, 2014, Swedish legislation about energy metering in buildings (SFS 2014:267) was passed by the Swedish Parliament as an implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive 2012/27/EU.
