Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to study the norms and values surrounding the family and the nation-state in Swedish family policy as they appear in Official Government Reports (SOU) on international adoption and assisted reproductive technology (ART) between 1953 and 2007. I argue that the committees’ reports can be viewed as normative statements constituting a hegemonic state discourse. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Background: Assessment and management of risk for violent recidivism to prevent future offending among sexual offenders is an important and challenging task within social, correctional, and forensic mental health services. The overall aim of this thesis was to study the usefulness of various models for the assessment of risk for violent recidivism among sexual offenders in Sweden, and to explore the relationship between individual risk factors and violent recidivism. Sammanfattning : Flunitrazepam (FZ) is an example of a sedative-hypnotic benzodiazepine whose pharmacokinetic properties include a rapid onset of action and an intermediate duration of action. It has a high affinity to central benzodiazepine receptors and affects them profoundly. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Background: Violence is one of the leading causes of unnatural deaths, and the consequences of violence for victims, victims families, offenders, and society at large involve extensive suffering and monetary costs. Improving strategies to prevent and reduce violence is of great importance, and refining techniques for risk assessments in forensic and correctional settings is assumed to be one way of doing so.
