    Sammanfattning : Background: Acute exposure of the mammalian eye to UVR results in development of photokeratitis after a period of a few hours. Chronic exposure to UVR is associated with an increased risk of several corneal disorders, including pterygium, climatic droplet keratopathy, and climatic proteoglycan stromal keratopathy. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The metabolism of arachidonic acid in the human cornea was investigated and compared with the metabolism in cattle and primates.
