    Sammanfattning : In 1935 and 1936 there was a hard labour conflict in the market garden business in the city of Malmö and its environs. The Parties were Allmänna Arbetsgivareföreningen (the General Federation of Employers), an affiliation of Svenska Arbetsgivareföreningen (the Swedish Employers Federation), SAF, on the one hand and on the other Svenska Lantarbetareförbundet (the Swedish Union of Agricultural Workers) and its Section 210 (the Union of Garden Workers in the District of Malmö).     Sammanfattning : In the Western world there has been a general consensus that in the aftermath of Auschwitz and Hiroshima, romanticized masculine images of war and soldiering have reached a turning point.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to analyse the relationship and interaction between gender and nation in a Swedish context, during the first half of the twentieth century. During the British Mandate period in Palestine, Jewish, Muslim and Christian children studied together at Anglican missionary schools.     Sammanfattning : This study shows that the mechanisms behind knowledge accumulation and the sources of productivity growth differ from industry to industry depending on what is produced and what technology is used. Although it is apparent to most researchers in the field that the only way to explain long-run growth in output per capita is through technological progress and accumulation of knowledge that counteract the dampening effect of diminishing returns, we are still in the dark about how such mechanisms operate.
