   Sammanfattning : The aim of this work is to illuminate the history of restoration in 20th century Sweden by studying restorations of medieval Uppland churches, in the hope of highlighting the debate and conflicts surrounding the ideologies forming the framework of church restorations and identifying the crucial considerations. It is an attempt to depicting church restorations with the focus of attention on the function of the church interior, but also on ways of achieving a credible design appropriate to the present.    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyse the design and development of the classical interior detail and its theoretical background from its Italian origins through its development into a shared European style around 1700. European semi-natural grasslands represent one of the world's most species-rich habitats at small scales, but agricultural intensification during the 20th century has meant that many plant species are left only on small fragments of former habitat.
