16. DNA-Assisted Immunoassays for High-Performance Protein Analyses
Sammanfattning : Proteins play important roles in most cellular functions, such as, replication, transcription regulation, signal transduction, for catalyzing chemical reaction, etc. Technologies developed to identify proteins rely either on observing their own properties such as charge, size, mass to charge ratio or sequence composition; or on using affinity reagents that recognize specific protein targets. 17. Development and evaluation of analytical techniques for antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates : From verification of conjugation to stability testing
Sammanfattning : Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are becoming increasingly important in oncology. ADCs are inherently heterogeneous analytes. For a successful drug candidate to go through to the clinic, extensive characterization and evaluation of the constructs are necessary. LÄS MER
18. Optical Phase Conjugation and All-Optical Demultiplexing using Four-Wave Mixing in Dispersion Shifted Fibers
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with two applications of four-wave mixing in optical dispersion-shifted fibers; optical phase conjugation and all-optical switching. The work is a part of an effort to study the upgradability of the existing fiber plant, which is of large economic interest. LÄS MER
19. Fabrication of Functional Molecularly Imprinted Materials using Nanoparticle Building Blocks
Sammanfattning : Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) have attracted great interest in many applications including bioseparation, chemical sensing, catalysis, drug delivery, etc. Recently, molecularly imprinted nanoparticles have become accessible due to a number of synthetic methods that have been developed. 20. Jysk -de-bõjning : En undersõgelse af svag præteritumbõjning : an investigation of weak preterite forms
Sammanfattning : In this thesis, an investigation of past tense conjugation of weak verbs in traditional Jutland dialects is undertaken. The past tense endings in focus are those which do not correspond with the -ede-ending or the -te-ending known from Standard Danish, but which correspond with the endings -de, -the, -(d)de known from Medieval Danish.
