1. Modification of Paper into Conductive Substrate for Electronic Functions : Deposition, Characterization and Demonstration
Sammanfattning : The thesis investigates the modification of paper into an ion- and electron-conductive material, and as a renewable material for electronic device. The study stretches from investigating the interaction between the cellulosic materials and the conducting polymer to demonstrating the performance of the conductive paper by printing the electronic structure on the surface of the conductive paper. 2. Development of Cellulose-Based, Nanostructured, Conductive Paper for Biomolecular Extraction and Energy Storage Applications
Sammanfattning : Conductive paper materials consisting of conductive polymers and cellulose are promising for high-tech applications (energy storage and biosciences) due to outstanding aspects of environmental friendliness, mechanical flexibility, electrical conductivity and efficient electroactive behavior. Recently, a conductive composite paper material was developed by covering the individual nanofibers of cellulose from the green algae Cladophora with a polypyrrole (PPy) layer. LÄS MER
Sammanfattning : A new manufacturing paradigm may lower the cost and environmental impact of existing products, as well as enable completely new products. Large scale, roll-to-roll manufacturing of flexible electronics and other functionality has great potential. LÄS MER
Sammanfattning : Organic electronics is the study of organic materials with electronic functionality and the applications of such materials. In the 1970s, the discovery that polymers can be made electrically conductive led to an explosion within this field which has continued to grow year by year. LÄS MER
Sammanfattning : This thesis has assessed medical, technical and health-related aspects of otosclerosis from a long-term perspective. A retrospective clinical study was performed where 65 subjects who had previously undergone stapedectomy (1977-1979) were assessed. Twenty-eight - Thirty years later a follow-up was conducted. LÄS MER
