  1. 1. Spatial computable general equilibrium modelling : static and dynamic approaches

    Författare :Marcus Sundberg; Lars Lundqvist; Lars Westin; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns both static and dynamic modeling in a spatial computable general equilibrium setting. First, we have applied a static framework for the assessment of economic impacts of the Öresund bridge. Secondly, we make an attempt to enhance the static framework through the introduction of economic dynamics. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Climate Change Policy of Bio-Energy: A Computable General Equilibrium Analysis

    Författare :Rahimaisa Abdula; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; bio-energy; climate change policy; land-use change; and computable general equilibrium;

    Sammanfattning : This paper explores the intersectoral and land-use dynamics behind bio-energy??s development as a climate change policy. Bio-energy from agriculture and forestry can potentially mitigate the emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) from energy use and land-use changes (LUC) by its substitution to fossil fuels and its diversion of land-use to biomass plantation. 3. 3. Transport and environment incentive policy instruments : effects and interactions

    Författare :Xing Liu; Lars Hultkrantz; James Odeck; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Congestion pricing; Equity effects; Modal choice; Social marginal cost; Externalities; Transport taxation; Carbon tax; Carbon leakage; Computable General Equilibrium Model; VTTS; Simultaneous decision model; Random utility model; Logistics cost minimization; Additionality; Klimp; Climate subsidy program; Subsidy; CDM; Business Studies; Företagsekonomi;

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation studies issues related to the evaluation of the effects and interactions of transport and environmental incentive policy instruments. Essay 1: Green cars sterilize congestion charges: a model analysis of the reduced impact of Stockholm road tolls calibrates a modal-choice model with data from the Stockholm road toll and uses it to study the sensitivity of congestion toll effects to some seemly subtle changes in the toll system design and external circumstances. 4. 4. Vintage models of spatial structural change

    Författare :Lars Westin; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; adiabatic approximation; dynamics; input-output; interregional computable general equilibrium; slaving principle; spatial models; spatial linear expenditure system; spatial price equilibrium; transportation networks; vintage function;

    Sammanfattning : In the study a class of multisector network models, suitable for simulation of the interaction between production, demand, trade, and infrastructure, is presented. A characteristic feature of the class is a vintage model of the production system. LÄS MER
