  1. 26. Architectural Compliance in Component-Based Systems : Foundations, Specification, and Checking of Architectural Rules

    Författare :Sebastian Herold; Clausthal University of Technology; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; software architecture; software system; design decisions; Datavetenskap; Computer Science;

    Sammanfattning : The intended software architecture of a software system manifests the earliest and most fundamental design decisions. To ensure that the final software product is consistent with those design decisions and the requirements realized that way, the software architecture has to be refined correctly. LÄS MER

  2. 27. Towards Aspectual Component-Based Real-Time System Development

    Författare :Aleksandra Tešanović; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; aspect-oriented software development; component-based software development; real-time systems; embedded systems; database systems; aspects; components; worst-case execution time; Computer science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Increasing complexity of real-time systems and demands for enabling their configurability and tailorability are strong motivations for applying new software engineering principles such as aspect-oriented and component-based software development. The integration of these two techniques into real-time systems development would enable: (i) efficient system configuration from the components in the component library based on the system requirements, (ii) easy tailoring of components and/or a system for a specific application by changing the behavior (code) of the component by aspect weaving, and (iii) enhanced flexibility of the real-time and embedded software through the notion of system configurability and component tailorability. 3. 28. A Verification Framework for Component Based Modeling and Simulation : “Putting the pieces together”

    Författare :Imran Mahmood; Rassul Ayani; Gary Tan; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Modeling and Simulation; Component-based development; Composability; Semantic Composability; Dynamic-Semantic Composability; Verification; Correctness; Petri Nets Analysis; Algebraic Techniques; Colored Petri Nets; State-space Analysis; Communicating Sequential Processes; Model Checking.; SRA - ICT; SRA - Informations- och kommunikationsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The discipline of component-based modeling and simulation offers promising gains including reduction in development cost, time, and system complexity. This paradigm is very profitable as it promotes the use and reuse of modular components and is auspicious for effective development of complex simulations. LÄS MER

  4. 29. Towards a Predictable Component-Based Run-Time System

    Författare :Rafia Inam; Mikael Sjödin; Jukka Mäki-Turja; Tullio Vardanega; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; real-time systems; component based software engineering; hierarchical scheduling; Computer Science; datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis we propose a technique to preserve the temporal properties of realtime components during their integration and reuse. We propose a new concept of runnable virtual node which is a coarse-grained real-time component that provides functional and temporal isolation with respect to its environment. LÄS MER

  5. 30. Software Component Technologies for Heavy Vehicles

    Författare :Anders Möller; Mikael Nolin; Henrik Lönn; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Control-systems for heavy vehicles have advanced from an area where Industrial Requirements on Component Technologies for Embedded Systemsmainly mechanic and hydraulic solutions were used, to a highly computerised domain using distributed embedded real-time computer systems. To cope with the increasing level of end-customer demands on advanced features and functions in future vehicle systems, sophisticated development techniques are needed. LÄS MER
