  1. 21. Rectal Cancer - Tumor Biology and Prognostic Markers

    Detta är en avhandling från Eva Fernebro

    Författare :Eva Fernebro; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [2003]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; prognostic markers; Cytology; oncology; cancerology; Cytologi; onkologi; cancer; immunohistochemistry IHC ; chromosomal instability CIN ; microsatellite instability MSI ; tissue microarray TMA ; tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 1 TIMP-1 ; Rectal cancer; soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor suPAR ;

    Sammanfattning : Popular Abstract in Swedish Cancer i tjock- och ändtarm drabbar årligen drygt 5000 svenskar. En rad faktorer har satts i samband med tumöruppkomst i tarmen, bl a ärftlighet, inflammatorisk tarmsjukdom, kost och motion, men det är till stor del okänt hur dessa faktorer orsakar cancerutveckling. 5. 25. Colorectal cancer and radiation response The role of EGFR, AKT and cancer stem cell markers

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Sara Häggblad Sahlberg; Uppsala universitet.; [2014]

    Sammanfattning : The primary treatment for colorectal cancer is surgery. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy, sometimes combined, are also frequently used to diminish recurrence risk. In response to radiation exposure, several cellular signaling cascades are activated to repair DNA breaks, prevent apoptosis and to keep the cells proliferating. LÄS MER
