Sammanfattning : This thesis studies the introduction of the idea of human rights to China, and traces the continuing debate on human rights during the period 1898 to 1949. The writings of advocates of human rights such as Zou Rong, Chen Duxiu, Luo Longji and Zhou Jingwen, among others, are discussed and analysed, as are those of critics of the idea of human rights, such as Liang Qichao, Sun Yat-sen, and Wu Jingxiong. Sammanfattning : Modern standard written Chinese has two common object markers, 把 ba and 将 jiang, both of which mark a direct object preceding the verb. Both markers appear to have been widely used in the spoken language of the Tang dynasty but the actual distribution is not entirely clear. LÄS MER
15. In Search of the Generic Identity of Ci Poetry
Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to create a coherent and systematic description of the ci genre through discussing a large number of characteristics attributed to it in some well-known theories and studies from the Song dynasty up to our day. Some major issues of debate concerning the ci genre are discussed and certain traditional research methods and research attitudes among mainland Chinese scholars are questioned. LÄS MER
