    Sammanfattning : Four studies were included in this doctoral dissertation aiming to investigatehow habilitation professionals perceive the ICF-CY in clinical work and to identify everyday life situations specific for children and youth aged 0-17 years. The ICF-CY was the conceptual framework and since the research was conducted on as well as with the ICF-CY, the use of the classification runs like a thread through all the work. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The over-arching aim of this doctoral thesis is to describe, analyze, theorize and problematize how the Swedish police interrogate children and youth suspected of committing the crime of homicide. This thesis will therefore focus on the investigative interview practices with children below the age of criminal responsibility, who cannot be prosecuted, as well as youth, who have reached the age of criminal responsibility and can thus be prosecuted, and, if found guilty, sentenced.     Sammanfattning : Clarification on how cognitive, executive and emotional functioning contribute to symptom reduction or improved function in childhood attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is needed to find additional treatment methods. The clinical utility of continuous performance test (CPT) (Conners’ CPT-II, QbTest) to complement rating scales in diagnostic assessments and treatment evaluations (QbTest) was examined using one dataset from clinical records of 118 treatment-seeking youth (ADHD, n = 80; non-ADHD, n = 38) (diagnostic) and one dataset of 56 youth treated for ADHD (treatment evaluation) (Paper I).     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to survey sleep-wake characteristics and their associations with other factors, especially behavioural and emotional difficulties, in children. Parents' reports showed that various sleep disturbances were fairly common phenomena among 5-6-year-olds. LÄS MER
