  1. 1. Dynamic Systems for Screening, Control and Identification of Protein-Ligand Interactions

    Författare :Rikard Larsson; Olof Ramström; Michel R. Gagné; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Dynamic combinatorial chemistry; Dynamic kinetic combinatorial resolution; Catalytic screening; Transthiolesterification; Thiol disulfide interchange; Nitroaldol reaction; Lectins; Hydrolases; Dynamic self-inhibition; Organic chemistry; Organisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Dynamic systems for screening, control and identification of different protein-ligand interactions are presented. Dynamic chemistry is used to produce new compounds/constituents in situ that can interact with a target molecule. Several entities can be introduced at the same time and interact with one another. 2. 2. Reversible Sulfur Reactions in Pre-Equilibrated and Catalytic Self-Screening Dynamic Combinatorial Chemistry Protocols

    Författare :Rikard Larsson; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Dynamic Combinatorial Chemistry; Reversible sulfur reactions; Catalytic self-screening; Carbohydrates; Lectins; Quartz Crystal Microbalance; Organic chemistry; Organisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Dynamic Combinatorial Chemistry (DCC) is a recently introduced supramolecular approach to generate dynamically interchanging libraries of compounds. These libraries are made of different building blocks that reversibly interact with one another and spontaneously assemble to encompass all possible combinations. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Dynamic Covalent Resolution: Applications in System Screening and Asymmetric Synthesis

    Författare :Pornrapee Vongvilai; Olof Ramström; Benjamin Miller; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; dynamic covalent kinetic combinatorial resolution; Self-screening; Transesterification; Amidation; Enzyme catalysis; Nitroaldol reaction; Secondary alcohols; Strecker reaction; Aminonitriles; Racemase; Enzyme catalytic promiscuity; Chemistry; Kemi; Organic chemistry; Organisk kemi; Bioorganic chemistry; Bioorganisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Combined thermodynamic/kinetic events amount to a kinetically controlled Dynamic Combinatorial Resolution (DCR) process, where the lability of themolecules/aggregates are used to generate dynamics, and the species experiencing the lowest activation energy is selected via kinetic process. Bothinter- and intramolecular processes can be performed using this concept,resulting in complete resolution and associated amplification of the selected species. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Studies of Supported Catalysts for Environmental Applications: - Flow Reactor Measurements, Monte Carlo Simulations and High Throughput Screening

    Författare :Peter Thormählen; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; catalytic oxidation of carbon monoxide; supported heterogeneous catalysts; flow reactor measurements; high throughput screening; low temperature catalytic activity; cobalt oxide; platinum; temperature programmed methods; Monte Carlo simulations; environmental catalysis;

    Sammanfattning : The use of heterogeneous catalysts for environmental applications, primarily for reduction of harmful emissions from vehicles and stationary sources, has successively increased during the last three decades. Driven by emission regulations, research and development within this area attract large interest and resources, especially for automotive applications. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Chemoenzymatic Resolution in Dynamic Systems : Screening, Classification and Asymmetric Synthesis

    Författare :Yan Zhang; Olof Ramström; Sabine Flitsch; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; constitutional dynamic chemistry; dynamic systemic resolution; dynamic kinetic resolution; enzyme catalysis; transesterification; enzyme promiscuity; asymmetric synthesis; pattern recognition; self-inhibition.;

    Sammanfattning : This  thesis  is  divided  into  four  parts,  all  centered  around  Constitutional Dynamic  Chemistry  (CDC)  and  Dynamic  Kinetic  Resolution  (DKR)  using biocatalysts for selective transformations, and their applications in screening of bioactive compounds, organic synthesis, and enzyme classification.   In  part  one,  an  introduction  to  CDC  and  DKR  is  presented,  illustrating  the basic  concepts,  practical  considerations  and  potential  applications  of  such dynamic systems, thus providing the background information for the studies in the following chapters.
