The main purpose of this thesis is to adapt and evaluate two clinical assessment instruments and to investigate the occurrence of mental health problems as well as psychiatric care utilisation in persons with ID.     Sammanfattning : Aim: The overall aim was to map and describe experiences of heat conservationmeasures (HCM) for the patient in connection with surgery from the patientʼsand the surgical teamʼs perspectives. The four studies aimed to: determinewhether nurse anesthetists have access to, knowledge of, and adhere torecommended guidelines to maintain normal body temperature during theperioperative period (I), describe the patientʼs lived experience of warmth andcoldness in connection with surgery (II), describe the nurse anesthetistʼsperceptions of heat conservation measures in connection with surgery (III),describe the surgical team memberʼs experience of communication regardingheat conservation measures during surgery (IV).     Sammanfattning : The overall purpose of this thesis was to study the situation of such children in the legal process. In depth-interviews were carried out on ten children aged 8-18 years old.     Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the present thesis was to explore and compare professional co-operation in child welfare investigations, explore the psychometric properties, and describe the clinical utility from different perspectives of a translated Swedish version of the standardized assessment instrument the Home Observation for Measurement of the Environment (the HOME Inventory). Social workers in Sweden, Denmark, Britain, Germany, and Texas (USA) co-operated with different professionals around a fictitious child welfare case. LÄS MER
