    Sammanfattning : Vitamin B12 can be reduced to cob(I)alamin [Cbl(I)], which is one of the most powerful nucleophiles known and referred to as a “supernucleophile”. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the molecular genetics of drug metabolising enzymes, in particular CYP2D6, CYP2C19, CYP2C9, CYP1B1, CYP1A2 and XO, with special emphasis on the Ethiopian population.
