  1. 1. Kolets återkomst : Koldioxidavskiljning och lagring i vetenskap och politik

    Författare :Anders Hansson; Jonas Anshelm; Mats Westermark; Alf Hornborg; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Carbon capture; carbon storage; coal power; CCS; energy politics; climate politics; scenario; ecological modernization; Koldioxidavskiljning; koldioxidlagring; kolkraft; CCS; ekologisk modernisering; energipolitik; klimatpolitik; scenario; Technology and social change; Teknik och social förändring;

    Sammanfattning : I denna avhandling studeras en ny teknik för att hantera växthuseffekten. Den nya tekniken heter koldioxidavskiljning och lagring (CCS) och granskades av FN:s klimatpanel 2005 och tillskrevs då möjligheterna att stå för 15-55% av alla CO2-reducering fram till 2100 och detta till en 30% lägre kostnad än vad som annars vore möjligt. 2. 2. Ammonia as an Absorbent of Carbon Dioxide in Post-Combustion Capture - an Experimental, Technical and Economic Process Evaluation

    Författare :Henrik Jilvero; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; cost of capture; carbon dioxide; carbon capture; power plant; ammonia; process simulations;

    Sammanfattning : Carbon capture and storage is vital to facilitating the transition from our current fossil fuel-based energy system to a sustainable energy system. The concept of post-combustion capture is based on the selective chemical absorption of carbon dioxide (CO2). LÄS MER

  3. 3. CO2 storage in deep saline aquifers : Models for geological heterogeneity and large domains

    Författare :Liang Tian; Auli Niemi; Fritjof Fagerlund; Simon Mathias; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; CO2; Carbon Capture Storage; Storage Capacity; Injectivity; Monte Carlo; Gaussian; Permeability; Upscaling; 二氧化碳; 地質封存; 高斯仿真; 滲透係數; 非均質性; 升尺度; 存儲效能; 場地模擬; 不確定性; 壓力累積;

    Sammanfattning : This work presents model development and model analyses of CO2 storage in deep saline aquifers. The goal has been two-fold, firstly to develop models and address the system behaviour under geological heterogeneity, second to tackle the issues related to problem scale as modelling of the CO2 storage systems can become prohibitively complex when large systems are considered. 4. 4. Promises and Pitfalls of Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage : Actors' Perspectives, Challenges, and Mitigation Deterrence in Sweden

    Författare :Emily Rodriguez; Anders Hansson; Simon Haikola; Stefan Grönkvist; Nils Markusson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Bioenergy with carbon capture and storage BECCS ; Negative emission technologies NETs ; Carbon dioxide removal CDR ; Sustainability transitions; Mitigation deterrence; Sweden; Bioenergi med koldioxidavskiljning och lagring bio-CCS ; Negativa utsläpp; Koldioxidinfångningsmetoder; Energiomställningen; Mitigation deterrence; Sverige;

    Sammanfattning : Carbon dioxide removal (CDR) methods, such as bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS), have gained traction in international climate policy arenas to meet net-zero goals. Even though companies operating facilities with large point sources of biogenic emissions, such as pulp and paper industries and energy utilities, could implement carbon capture, there are few studies that take a bottomup perspective to study these key actors. 5. 5. Towards Sustainable Shipping: Climate change and other environmental perspectives on carbon-based marine electrofuels and onboard carbon capture

    Författare :Elin Malmgren; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; liquefied natural gas; power-to-X; methanol; power-to-gas; carbon capture and utilization; thematic analysis; Marine renewable energy; onboard carbon capture; marine fuels; LCA; shipping; electrofuels;

    Sammanfattning : The global, local, and regional environment is under pressure from human activity. Shipping is a human activity causing emissions to air, water, and soil, which has direct and indirect effects on the environment. LÄS MER
