  1. 6. Utilizing CO2 from biomethane production : Sustainability and climate performance

    Författare :Stephanie S. Cordova; Mats Eklund; Marcus Gustafsson; Niclas Svensson; Valentina Bisinella; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Biomethane; Carbon capture and utilization; CCU; CO₂ utilization;

    Sammanfattning : Biogas solutions offer many benefits for the environment and society, including organic waste treatment as well as being an enabler for energy and nutrient recovery. The products of anaerobic digestion are a biogas, which contains a share of 30 to 50% carbon dioxide (CO2) and 50 to 70% methane, and a liquid remanent, rich in nutrients. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Dissociative Adsorption of CO2 on Copper: The Role of Steps

    Författare :Benjamin Hagman; Synkrotronljusfysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; koppar; CO2; Copper surface; Carbon Dioxide : chemistry; Dissociative adsorption; Surface oxidation; Ambient pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy APXPS ; Surface X-ray diffraction SXRD ;

    Sammanfattning : CO2 chemistry has received significant interest in recent time, due to the greenhouse effects of CO2 emissions and the resulting climate change. CO2 reduction reactions, such as methanol synthesis and reverse water-gas shift, is providing a route for recycling of CO2 and thus limiting the CO2 emissions. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Air-Sea Fluxes of CO2 : Analysis Methods and Impact on Carbon Budget

    Författare :Maria Norman; Anna Rutgersson; Erik Sahlée; William Drennan; Uppsala universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : Carbon dioxide (CO2) is an important greenhouse gas, and the atmospheric concentration of CO2 has increased by more than 100 ppm since prior to the industrial revolution.  The global oceans are considered an important sink of atmospheric CO2, since approximately one third of the anthropogenic emissions are absorbed by the oceans. 4. 9. Towards CO2 efficient centralised distribution

    Författare :Christofer Kohn; Maria Huge Brodin; Mats Abrahamsson; Alan McKinnon; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :CO2 emissions; Centralised distribution; Structural change; Shipper; Transport; Trade-off; Interrelationship; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation treats a topic that has received increasing attention as of late, namely that of the environment and in particular increasing levels of CO2 emissions caused by transport. The aim of the dissertation is to explain how a shipper, through various measures, can reduce transport-related CO2 emissions when centralising a distribution system and how this affects the provision of cost efficient customer service.
