  1. 1. Managing information to unblock supplier-led innovation in construction : barriers to client decision-making on industrialized building in Sweden

    Författare :Susanne Engström; Christine Räisänen; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Träbyggnad; Timber Structures;

    Sammanfattning : The overall purpose of this thesis is to further the understanding of the role of the construction client as a decision-maker on supplier-led innovation. The analysis targets the ability of Swedish professional building clients to manage information about innovations extending beyond their current frames of reference. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Building-related renewable electricity production with storage and energy-efficient buildings : Exploring barriers, drivers and quality assurance

    Författare :Anna-Lena Lane; Mathias Cehlin; Thomas Olofsson; Högskolan i Gävle; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energy efficiency gap; energy performance gap; ByggaE; battery storage; barriers; drivers; Non-energy benefits NEB; questionnaire; quality assurance; PV; energieffektivisering; energieffektiva byggnader; kvalitetssäkring; byggprocessen; ByggaE; solel; batterilager; hinder; drivkrafter; enkätstudie; Hållbar stadsutveckling; Sustainable Urban Development;

    Sammanfattning : There is a need to reduce unsustainable use of fossil fuels. Increased usage of renewable energy by combined use of photovoltaic solar panels (PV) with battery storage is one way. Another way is to increase awareness of energy usage and reduce the energy performance gap by building energy-efficient buildings. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Energy efficiency and the challenge of climate change - Studies of the Swedish building sector

    Författare :Jonas Nässén; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; technology diffusion; input-output analysis; Energy efficiency; Swedish building sector; carbon dioxide;

    Sammanfattning : The interrelated environmental, social and economic challenges imposed by global climate change will make it one of the central political issues in the coming century. Use of fossil fuels is the largest source of anthropogenic CO2 emissions and hence the transformation of the energy system plays a central role in the mitigation of future climate change. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Industrialised house building : fundamental change or business as usual?

    Sammanfattning : Criticism concerning quality deficiencies and high production costs for housing has made many construction companies make efforts to improve performance, inspired by ideas from the manufacturing industry and in particular the car industry. This is often referred to as industrialised building. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Energy Efficiency in the Residential, Service and Energy Sectors : Barriers, Drivers and System Studies

    Författare :Stefan Blomqvist; Louise Ödlund; Patrik Rohdin; Erik Dahlquist; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energy Efficiency; Barriers; Drivers; System Studies;

    Sammanfattning : Increased energy efficiency is a prerequisite for achieving the national energy and climate goals, the goals set by the European Union, and the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations. Close to 40% of Sweden’s total energy use and approximately 20% of domestic greenhouse gas emissions are allocated to the residential and service sector. LÄS MER
