  1. 1. Regional gravity and auxiliary geophysical measurements in the Songkhla, Yala and Pattani provinces in the peninsular Thailand and their geological interpretation

    Författare :Warawutti Lohawijarn; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Tillämpad geofysik; Applied Geophysics;

    Sammanfattning : A regional gravity survey and VES measurements were carried out in Songkla-Yala-Pattani provinces of Peninsular Thailand, an area between latitudes 6º 15'N and 7º 15'N and longitudes 100º 15'E and 101º 30'E. In addition the aeromagnetic maps of the area have been analyzed qualitatively as well as quantitatively in this thesis, an analysis that has not been undertaken before this. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Three-dimensional analysis of aeromagnetic and gravimetric data of sedimentary basins from Panama, Central America

    Författare :Luis E. Santamaria Vallejos; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Applied Geophysics; Tillämpad geofysik;

    Sammanfattning : The knowledge of the geology of the sedimentary basins from the Gulf of Panama is still quite limited. There is a lack of data from the basin geometry, the thickness, the continuity and connection between the basins, and from the characteristics of the crystalline basement rocks beneath the sedimentary basins. 3. 3. Airborne Gravity Gradient, Magnetic and VLF datasets : Case studies of modelling, inversion and interpretation

    Författare :Sayyed Mohammad Abtahi; Thomas Kalscheuer; Laust Pedersen; Jochen Kamm; Thorkild Rasmussen; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; VLF; gravity gradient; magnetic; airborne; inversion; non-uniqueness;

    Sammanfattning : Northern Sweden is one of the largest hosts for mineral resources in Europe and always has been an interesting area for researchers from various disciplines of Earth sciences. This dissertation is a comprehensive summary of three case study papers on airborne VLF, gravity gradient and magnetic data in the area. LÄS MER
