    Sammanfattning : This thesis consists of two self-contained essays. Essay I. I compute how optimal income tax schedules optimally should be differentiated between immigrants and natives.     Sammanfattning : Wood pellets have become a preferred solid biomass fuel for heat and power generation due to their standardized nature, known properties, and consistent quality. However, pellets produced from fresh sawdust sometimes undergo self-heating and off-gassing during storage. This poses a challenge for their transportation and storage. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Six studies on sleep/wake patterns and circadian rhythms were  carried out. In summary: (1) Adrenaline excretion, self-rated activation,  and body temperature rhythms persisted during sleep  deprivation, resisted adjustment to rotating shift work, but adjusted  rather well to permanent night work.
