  1. 1. Aspergern, det är jag : En intervjustudie om att leva med Asperger syndrom

    Författare :Gunvor Larsson Abbad; Ann-Christin Cederborg; Mikael Heimann; Tomas Tjus; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Asperger syndrome; everyday life; diagnosis; close relationships; selfimage; normality; empowerment; Asperger syndrom; vardagsliv; diagnos; nära relationer; självbild; normalitet; empowerment; Disability research; Handikappsforskning;

    Sammanfattning : The overall purpose of this interview-study is to increase the knowledge and understanding of persons with Asperger syndrome. For each participant has common and unique aspects been described. The ambition has been to illuminate their perspective of their situation in life and develop the understanding of their quality of life. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Integration of thermochemical processes with existing waste management industries to enhance biomethane production

    Författare :Chaudhary Awais Salman; Jinyue Yan; Eva Thorin; Yang Weihong; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; polygeneration; process integration; integrated biorefineries; biomethane; Energy- and Environmental Engineering; energi- och miljöteknik;

    Sammanfattning : In most waste management industries, waste is separated into different fractions, each of which is treated with suitable processes. Established technologies such as waste combustion for combined heat and power (CHP) production and biomethane production through anaerobic digestion (AD) of biodegradable waste work fine as standalone processes. 3. 3. Household food waste management – Evaluations of current status and potential improvements using life-cycle assessment methodology

    Författare :Anna Bernstad; Avdelningen för kemiteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; waste management; household waste; food waste; life-cycle assessment; anaerobic digestion; systems analysis;

    Sammanfattning : An increased understanding of the world’s limited resources and the negative environmental impacts connected to solid waste management has in recent years increased interest in separate collection and treatment of organic waste in many parts of the world. As an example, increased biological treatment of organic waste is an explicit goal within the Swedish national solid waste management strategy (SEPA, 2006) and the national environmental objectives state that 35% of all organic household waste should be treated biologically by 2010 (SEPA, 2007).
