1. Management of Mechatronic Product Data in PLM Systems
Sammanfattning : There are unique problems with mechatronic design. The increased amount of information available, and the need to manage this information from several and traditionally different engineering fields, have made it evident that it is no longer possible to design without solid knowledge about what is going on in related fields. 2. Product Lifecycle Management – Architectural and Organisational Perspectives
Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) with focus on architectural and organisational perspectives. The increased complexity in industry regarding processes, IT systems and organisation makes it difficult to manage product information from several and traditionally different engineering fields. 3. Supporting production preparation during product development using production requirements
Sammanfattning : Product development is affected by uncertainties due to changing customer requirements, changing regulations, technological developments, long lead times, high product complexities, and geopolitical issues. Automation, increased flexibility of production, and reduced lead times are drivers that allow product development to be competitive in this scenario. LÄS MER
4. Customer-focused data-driven target setting
Sammanfattning : To develop products through a customer-centric strategy, early stages of product development such as target setting play an important role. In the target setting stage Customer Needs (CN) are gathered and translated into Design Requirements (DR) in order to subsequently set product targets that fit cost constraints and at the same time result in high Customer Satisfaction (CS). 5. Anaemia in women of reproductive age in Tanzania : A study in Dar es Salaam
Sammanfattning : The overall aims of the study were to determine the prevalence of anaemia in women of reproductive age and to investigate the underlying causes, as well as assess the effectiveness of antenatal care (ANC) interventions for anaemia prevention. Consecutive pregnant women booking for ANC (n=2235) were screened for anaemia, followed up and screened again late in pregnancy. LÄS MER
