  1. 21. Regulation of T cell activation and death by the affinity of TCR for peptide/MHC complexes

    Författare :Cheng-Hong Wei; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to investigate the role of the affinity of peptide:MHC/TCR interaction in the regulation of T cell activation, death and repertoire selection. Three aspects pertinent for our understanding of this issue have been analyzed. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Understanding the Role of EGFR in the Treatment of Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

    Författare :Adam Jedliński; Karin Roberg; Ann-Charlotte Johansson; Lars Ekblad; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) originates from the epithelial lining of the upper aerodigestive tract. It accounts for over 90 % of the malignancies found in the head and neck region. 600,000 new cases of HNSCC occur each year worldwide. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Regulation of the pro-apoptotic protein Bim by T cell receptor triggering in human T cells

    Författare :Elena Sandalova; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :Bim; Apoptosis; Mitochondria; CTLs; AICD; TCR activation;

    Sammanfattning : Bim is a significant pro-apoptotic member of Bcl-2 family of proteins; it is proved to be an important regulator of apoptosis: over the years it has been shown to play a pivotal role for the development and maintenance of homeostasis in many cellular systems and tissues. The Bcl-2 family of proteins is a group of key regulators of the mitochondrial, or intrinsic, pathway of apoptosis. LÄS MER
