    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the history of Swedish children's comics and their narrative characteristics. The history is presented as five chronological periods from ca. 1890 to the present day (2005). The contents of the comics are compared to contemporary Swedish children's literature and are discussed in terms of recurring motifs and genres. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to describe how Italian advertising for olive oil, pasta and coffee reflects traditions, customs and culturally specific patterns regarding the ways in which these products are used in Italy, and how these culturally specific patterns are interpreted by native readers and non-native readers (Swedish students). The study is based on 22 Italian and 22 Swedish interpretations of three Italian print ads for olive oil, pasta and coffee. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the construction of role models, more specifically literary didactics and constructions of subject positions, in literary works with exemplary stories in Swedish 1400–1750, from the perspective of literature for children and young adults.Childhood concepts, didactic concepts and subject positions presented to the reader are analyzed from the point of view of dominance and dissonance between different characters and messages.     Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the development of the DP (the Determiner Phrase) in bilingual first (2L1) and in adult second (L2) language acquisition of Italian, with a focus on a case study of Italian as a second first language. The thesis suggests that the bilingual children and the Swedish adult learners develop the Italian DP differently. LÄS MER
