7. Spaceborne SAR in Sea Ice Monitoring: Algorithm Development and Validation for the Baltic Sea
Sammanfattning : The usefulness of new spaceborne synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) sensors at L-, C-, and X-band for operational sea ice monitoring in the Baltic Sea has been evaluated. It is concluded that the information content in C-band and X-band data is largely equivalent, although larger spatial coverage is an advantage of the current C-band satellites. LÄS MER
8. Spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar for Sea Ice Observations, Concentration and Dynamics
Sammanfattning : Spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is the primary choice for sea ice monitoring due to its all-weather, day-and-night capability and regular delivery of high resolution images. This thesis presents methods for estimation of sea ice concentration and drift, a multi-sensor study of Baltic Sea ice radar signatures and an interferometric study of landfast sea ice. LÄS MER

10. Företagskulturers makt : överbrygga språkliga klyftor
