Sammanfattning : Background: The experience of person-centredness and person-centred climate is poorly understood in the context of being assessed as non-urgent and, in many cases, left at home by the Ambulance Service.Aim: The overall objective of this thesis was to explore experiences of person-centredness and the person-centred climate among patients and significant others when patients were assessed as non-urgent by the Swedish Ambulance Service. Sammanfattning : Background: Previous studies have shown a high incidence of both acute and post-traumatic stress among ambulance personnel. It has been shown that ambulance personnel are at a higher risk of being affected of heart disease, high blood pressure and cancer. Studies have also seen a higher incidence of substance abuse and suicide. LÄS MER
