  1. 1. Route Adaptation of Charge strategies for Hybrid Vehicles

    Författare :Jan Andersson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; driver model; modelling; control strategies; road model route adaptation; powertrain; charge strategies; simulation; hybrid vehicle; vehicle propulsion;

    Sammanfattning : For vehicles with energy storage devices, here referred to as hybrid vehicles, the control of the system is of great importance. The hardware system can not be judged without its control. This thesis describes a method for determining the potential of an arbitrary vehicle propulsion system for a prescribed driving mission. 2. 2. Lärares arbete med individanpassning : Strategier och dilemman i klassrummet

    Författare :Sofia Boo; Glenn Hultman; Roger Klinth; Per Lindqvist; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Individual adaptation; teachers work; participant observations; primary school;

    Sammanfattning : A major challenge for teachers in crowded classrooms is to adapt the teaching to different pupil’s needs and abilities. Previous research shows that learning for pupils in the Swedish primary school has somewhat become an individual project. An increase in the individual work has been at the expense of whole class teaching. LÄS MER

  3. 3. The Art of Repeating Oneself : Migratory self-adaptation: media transformation and authorship in Persepolis and The Patience Stone

    Författare :Nafiseh Mousavi; Liviu Lutas; Karin Kukkonen; Rossholm Anna Sofia; Moira Inghilleri; Jens Schröter; Jan-Noël Thon; Golnar Nabizadeh; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; migration; authorship; migrant author; adaptation; self-adaptation; intermediality; media transformation; mediasphere; border; transfer; translation; translingualism; memory; Comparative literature; Litteraturvetenskap; Franska med litteraturvetenskaplig inriktning; French literature; Film Studies; Filmvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis studies the process and products of migratory self-adaptation: the practice of a migrant author recreating their own work in a new medium, and the baggage it brings with itself. Migratory self-adaptation is developed and analyzed in this research through a comparative and processual analysis of two cases of adaptation: Persepolis, a French autobiographical graphic novel written and drawn by Marjane Satrapi, the Franco- Iranian artist and writer, later turned into an animation movie co-written and codirected by Satrapi herself; and The Patience Stone, a novel written in French by Atiq Rahimi, the Franco-Afghan author, which is adapted to a homonymous film in Dari- Persian, co-written and directed by the author. 4. 4. Adaptation and learning in postural control

    Författare :Fredrik Tjernström; Lund näs- och halssjukdomar Öron-; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Postural control; Adaptation; Learning; Sensory reweighting;

    Sammanfattning : The importance of the ability to use bipedal stance and gait in everyday life cannot be underestimated. Bipedal stance is learned during childhood and constantly adapted to changing circumstances throughout life. Failure to attain and maintain the control of upright posture can have catastrophic consequences. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Phenotypic plasticity and local adaptation in tadpoles

    Författare :Björn Lardner; Biologiska institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; salinity tolerance; trade-off; life-history; tail depth; inducible defence; antipredator strategies; tadpoles; anurans; amphibians; Phenotypic plasticity; local adaptation; competitive ability; allozymes.; Animal ecology; Djurekologi;

    Sammanfattning : Amphibian larvae are plastic in many traits. Can plasticity buffer population divergence, so that local adaptation is more common in non-plastic traits? I argue that this may be the case for adaptive plastic responses. LÄS MER
