1. On avoiding and completing edge colorings
Sammanfattning : These papers are all related to the problem of avoiding and completing an edge precoloring of a graph. In more detail, given a graph G and a partial proper edge precoloring φ of G and a list assignment L for every non-colored edge of G, can we extend the precoloring to a proper edge coloring avoiding any list assignment? In the first paper, G is a d-dimensional hypercube graph Qd, a partial proper edge precoloring φ and every list assignment L must satisfy certain sparsity conditions. LÄS MER
2. Sexually transmitted infections and other reproductive tract infections in rural Vietnam : current situation, management and implications for control
Sammanfattning : Background: Sexually transmitted infections (STI) and other reproductive tract infections (RTI) constitute a huge health and economic burden in low-income countries. The infections may result in severe sequelae, particularly in women, and facilitate HIV acquisition and transmission. LÄS MER
3. Soil formation and soil moisture dynamics in agriculture fields in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam conceptual and numerical models
Sammanfattning : Previous studies of agricultural conditions in the Mekong Delta (MD) have identified soil compaction as an obstacle to sustainable production. A conceptual model for soil formation was presented to demonstrate the link between soil hydrology and plant response. LÄS MER
4. Regulation and role of IL-7 production in HIV-1 infection
Sammanfattning : The concentration of interleukin-7 (IL-7) in human serum is elevated in various clinical conditions associated with lymphopenia, including HIV-1 infection. IL-7 is an essential factor for T cell differentiation and survival, and it was suggested that high serum IL-7 concentration may represent a homeostatic response to T cell depletion, which may promote T cell regeneration. 5. Soil Degradation of Raised-beds on Orchards in the Mekong Delta Field and Laboratory Methods
Sammanfattning : Soil degradation is a complex process which may occur anywhere and at any time. It directly affects the physical, chemical and biological processes within the soil profile. Soil degradation can either be as a result of natural hazards or due to manmade actions, such as mismanagement on cropping patterns, soil preparation and cultivation practices. LÄS MER
