    Sammanfattning : How can schools influence the viewpoints students hold on aids and sex? The investigation focused on teaching the subject of aids and sex to secondary school students in grades eight through eleven. Thirteen teachers and their students, in 15 different classes, were studied and compared with a control group; altogether 548 students were included in the investigation. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The global governance of AIDS is dependent for its success on the concerted efforts of actors from both local and global levels, thus challenging the current international organization based on state sovereignty. The study seeks to understand the processes behind the creation of partnerships among the many different nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) active in AIDS politics and the intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) charged with combatting the epidemic.     Sammanfattning : The focus of this study is on the development and influence of HIV/AIDS policy networks in Sweden and United Kingdom during the period 1982-92, from the period when the lethal disease which was later named AIDS first appeared in the two countries, to the time when HIV/AIDS policy was integrated into the main policy field of infectious diseases. The networks are defined as structural arrangements between organisations and individuals, who are in frequent contact with one another in order to prevent HIV infection, to reduce the personal and social impact of HIV infection, and to care for those already infected.
