1. Copper germanide schottky contacts to silicon and electrically active defects in n-type 6H-SiC and 4H-SiC epitaxial layers
Sammanfattning : Metallization for contacts to silicon devices presents amajor challenge as the linewidths are further reduced into thesub-micron regime. Copper germanide due to its relatively lowroom temperature resistivity ( ~ 10 µΩ - cm) has beenexamined as a potential contact metallixation. LÄS MER
2. Microscopic Characterisation of Solar Cells : An Electron Microscopy Study of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 and Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 Solar Cells
Sammanfattning : The sun provides us with a surplus of energy convertible to electricity using solar cells. This thesis focuses on solar cells based on chalcopyrite (CIGSe) as well as kesterite (CZTS(e)) absorber layers. These materials yield record efficiencies of 20.4 % and 11. LÄS MER
3. Sub-micron Structures in Laser Ablated YBa2Cu3O7-x Thin Films
Sammanfattning : This thesis treats the epitaxial growth of high-Tc superconductors and other perovskite oxides as well as the patterning of these into sub-micron structures for superconducting electronic devices. A computer controlled laser ablation system, based on a KrF excimer laser (248 nm) to induce ablation, was developed to allow complex thin film growth processes. LÄS MER
4. Intra-packet data-flow protocol processor
Sammanfattning : Protocol processing is the bottleneck in high-speed computer networks. Many network processors have been suggested for switches and routers. Protocol processing in terminals has other characteristics than the processing in switches and routers. Therefore a new type of processor is desirable for terminals. LÄS MER
5. Covalent Vapor-Phase Grafting of Degradable Polymers
