Sammanfattning : The subject of this dissertation is the so-called concrete poetry that was written in Sweden during the 1960s and, to a small extent, in the 1950s, by Öyvind Fahlström, Jarl Hammarberg, Åke Hodell, Bengt Emil Johnson, and others. The study is focused on a discussion of the forms and the ways of writing that were explored, but it also gives an account of the aesthetic-historical context – of the expanded field of the arts in the 1960s, of the early avant-garde, of related forms of writing in earlier literature, such as pattern poetry. Sammanfattning : I Spår, kropp, tid undersöks den måleriska gestens materialitet i måleri som förknippas med abstrakt expressionism och informell konst. Ett återkommande drag i beskrivningarna av denna konst är att den sägs peka mot, eller handla om, individen eller individualitet; antingen som ett uttryck förkonstnärens inre liv genom fria, improviserade stråk på duken, eller i relation till sociala och historiska sammanhang där individualiteten har uppfattats som undertryckt av industrialismens effekter eller av kollektivistisk statligpolitik. 5. Rekordår och miljonprogram : flerfamiljshus i stor skala : en fallstudiebaserad undersökning av politik, planläggning och estetik
Sammanfattning : The objective of the thesis is to illuminate and further the understanding of a period of history known as the ”record years” (1960-1975), and ”the million homes program” (1965-1974). The questions discussed in the thesis include: what was the attitude of local authorities to the building of homes? How was the location of the buildings decided? Which factors influenced the character of the buildings and housing areas? This involves a study of the interplay among the various actors and a discussion of the role of the architects. LÄS MER
