    Sammanfattning : Introduction: Adrenal tumours can either be benign or malignant, hormone secreting or not, and they can be discovered through clinical examination of the patient or by pure chance. Increased knowledge in the area, plus the widespread use of imaging techniques, have resulted in a rising number of patients with adrenal tumours that subsequently need to be diagnosed.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation deals with the different functions of the Swedish Brewers Association: political defence against reductions in the free trade in beer and taxation of the brewing industry, defence against strikes and boycotts, and the making of a nation-wide cartel. The breakthroug of temperance ideology, the fiscal needs of the state and the growth of the socialist labour movement threatened the property interests of the brewing industry. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The focus for this thesis is the alcoholic care in Sweden from the establishment of the first alcoholic institution in 1885 and the years right after the compulsory care act was passed in 1913. In the thesis the practical activity at the four first alcoholic institutions is examined, but also the ideas concerning alcoholic care that were formulated by the men that were the institutions initiators and responsible for the activities.
