Sammanfattning : The present work is a study of the non-finite equivalents of the Latin accusative and infinitive in 17th century Finnish prose. The analysis is based on excerpts from a corpus comprising some 22 million words (the number of words in a modern work of fiction is normally 70,000 - 100,000). LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : The purpose of this dissertation is to study the waning of premodern ideas about society by investigating the ways in which social status was conceived. Analyses of linguistic expressions and negotiations of status are used to study changes in how different social groups related and acted on one another, what changed, and what remained constant as premodernity gave way to modernity. Sammanfattning : The object of this study is a translation from Polish to Russian of the Polish historian Maciej Stryjkowski’s Kronika Polska, Litewska, Żmódzka i wszystkiej Rusi, made at the Diplomatic Chancellery in Moscow in 1673–79.
