  1. 1. Population Dynamics, Diet and Migrations of the Únetice Culture in Poland

    Författare :Dalia Anna Pokutta; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; palaeodemography; Bronze Age; Central Europe; Únětice culture; stable isotopes analyses; 13C and 15N analyses; 87Sr 86 strontium analyses; radiocarbon dating; palaeopathology; mobility; diet; prehistoric identity; child in prehistory; eldery in prehistory; Únětice tribal elites; prehistoric homicide; fertility; mortality; population growth; Bronze Age transportation; theory of migrations; Silesia; Wrocław; Nebra;

    Sammanfattning : Únětice kulturens roll när det kommer till formandet av bronsåldern i Europa kan inte överskattas. Uppkomsten och existensen av denna originella, utvidgande och dynamiska population markerar en av de mest intressanta tidpunkterna i europeisk förhistoria, tidpunkten då en era avslutas och en ny tar vid. 2. 2. Mysid growth, stable isotope fractionation, and energetics : implications for food web studies

    Författare :Elena Gorokhova; Ora Johansson; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Systems Ecology; systemekologi;

    Sammanfattning : Field data, stable isotope analyses of the Baltic Sea food web structure,and experimental studies of the functional response indicate that theomnivorous crustacean Mysis mixta (Crustacea, Mysidacea) has no distinct trophic position, but can potentially affect plankton communitystructure and compete with herring and sprat for the zooplankton. Toevaluate field data on mysid body constituents, abundance and populationstructure, and that of their potentialprey, basic knowledge of feeding behaviour, growth mechanisms, andreproductive capabilities are required. 3. 3. Indirect biotic interactions in the rhizosphere

    Författare :Natalia Ladygina; Biologiska institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : The rhizosphere (the soil environment around plant roots) is characterized by complex direct and indirect interactions among its organisms. Studies of interactions among organisms in the rhizosphere are difficult to carry out due to a high diversity of inconspicuous organisms on a micro scale and the highly heterogeneous nature of the soil environment. 4. 4. Novel methods of tandem mass spectrometry in life sciences

    Författare :Mohammadhassan Gharibi; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Mass spectrometry (MS) is a powerful analytical technique widely employed for isotopic analysis and species identification in numerous research fields. Isotopic analysis involves precisely measuring stable isotopes within a sample, offering valuable insights into its origin, environment, and biological processes. LÄS MER
