    Sammanfattning : Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most prevalent cancer types in the Western world and in the Asia-pacific regions, with its incidence expected to rise up to 22 million cases till 2020. 2. 2. Myofibroblasts and polyploid cells in the conjunctival surface after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

    Nyckelord :Myofibroblast; Polyploid; Allogeneic; Graft-versus-Host Disease;

    Sammanfattning : Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is a potentially curative treatment modality for hematological malignancies, such as leukemia and lymphoma. However, a major complication of the procedure is that the immune effector cells in the graft may become activated towards the host´s healthy tissues, resulting in a condition called Graft-versus-Host Disease (GvHD).
