  1. 1. Spectrum Sensing Algorithms Based on Second-Order Statistics

    Författare :Erik Axell; Erik G. Larsson; Jan-Åke Larsson; Danyo Danev; Visa Koivunen; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Cognitive radio is a new concept of reusing spectrum in an opportunistic manner. Cognitive radio is motivated by recent measurements of spectrum utilization, showing unused resources in frequency, time and space. Introducing cognitive radios in a primary network inevitably creates increased interference to the primary users. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Structure function studies of ribonucleotide reductase from Escherichia coli

    Författare :Åke Larsson; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : The enzyme ribonucleotide reductase from Escherichia coliconsists of the two proteins, Bl and B2.To construct an efficient overproduction system for Bl, the nrdAgene, coding for the Bl protein was moved from a pBR322derivative into a plasmid that contains a temperature-sensitivecopy number control. 5. 5. The Power Qualities of Wind Turbines

    Författare :Åke Larsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; wind turbines; power quality; frequency variations; flicker; measurements;

    Sammanfattning : The power quality of wind turbines is dealt with in this dissertation. The thesis consists of four parts. The first part describes the electrical systems used in wind turbines. The second part presents the results of measurements of different types of wind turbines connected to different types of grids. LÄS MER
