Sammanfattning: In this thesis we give some new contributions to the theory of inequalities. We discuss and prove some inequalities for C-monotone functions which are closely related to the theory of indices. We prove some new inequalities for increasing functions. We derive and discuss some limiting inequalities of some modern form of Hardy's inequalities.
