Sammanfattning: The aim of this dissertation is to describe the constraints and possibilities that necessitate generative learning, as well as to describe numerous relevant norms that facilitate generative learning in a knowledge intensive manufacturing industry. The most important result of the thesis is showing that generative learning is divided :1) Generative learning related to routine tasks, 2) Adaptive learning related to routine tasks, 3) Generative learning related to non-routine tasks. Generative learning is unbounded, and its argues that the pedagogical milieu praxis in work places can be a suitable methjod to create conditions for a generative organizational learning.
