Multispectral reflectance measurements and signature analysis

Sammanfattning: The use of aerial photographs and satellite images may be.facilitated by a deeper knowledge of the reflection properties of natural features. This thesis, which includes a concluding essay and three more papers, is a study of two methods of multispectral reflectance measurements. One of the methods uses photographic film as sensor and the other a photomultiplier tube spectro-radiometer. The wavelength region used is 400-800 nm.The spectral signature analysis focuses on methods of answering the question of how many wavelength regions are necessary to discriminate among different agricultural crops.
